The heartbeat of our relationships are the widows and orphans we work with. These desperate beleaguered people are precisely the ones referred to in James chapter 1 versus 27. “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”
